Christmas 2025
Discover the true story behind this powerful new Sanctuary Foundation film — a moving account of one refugee’s journey from Iran and the life-changing welcome they received.
This video offers a hopeful, human perspective that challenges stereotypes and helps audiences see refugees not as headlines, but as neighbours. Perfect for school assemblies, church services, community events, or sharing on social media, this short film encourages viewers to reflect on what welcome really means — and how ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference.
This three-minute film inspires reflection on the refugee experience at the heart of the Christmas story, and what each of us can do to help bring peace and comfort to all those forcibly displaced from their homes.
Poignantly, the film is narrated in English by a young boy who is currently living in Bethlehem. This year there is also an Arabic version available.
We hope that you will show it as part of your Christmas services this year as a powerful way to reflect on the needs of all those who are far from home this Christmas, or those who have nowhere to call home.
